“Fleeting Abstraction” is a project all about capturing the fleeting beauty which can be right under our noses, and sometimes we fail to recognise. All the images here are of fishing boat hulls, where I have photographed the damage and repairs made by the fishermen. To me they look like abstract paintings, in some cases quasi-seascapes emerge… however all of them are temporary and will disappear soon after being photographed.
The images are limited edition archival Giclée prints on Hahnemuehle Photorag (100% cotton watercolour paper), and have appeared in two exhibitions.
