The work here is of black and white photographs, printed on matte paper, cut and woven into each other. Gold leaf is applied in some cases. With these images I’m trying to evoke a feeling and some sort of narrative which is ambiguous. A sensation similar to a memory… fragmented, incomplete, visceral, evocative, emotional and higgledy piggledy. This is “Selda’s distant memory, on a Tuesday”.
